Peachie and Aunt Rach came to visit us for the week-end!!!!! We have
lots of fun things planned including Abbie and Livie's birthday party
tomorrow!!!!!!! Here's a pic of them all sitting outside waiting to

Missing Zack

It's been an absolute whirlwind the past 3 weeks. Zack was shipped off to Calgary for a work project. Originally we thought he'd only been gone 3 days...that was August 12th! It's looking very likely that he'll finally return on Wednesday and we can't wait! Three weeks doesn't sound that long but he's missed so much! The kids started school, Mia is now talking in sentences, and Liv started Daisy scouts!

Happy Monday

The kids are now in their last week of Summer vacation! I can't believe my little Livie will be starting Kindergarten in 7 days!!! Thursday is back-to-school night when the kids will get to meet their teachers - Livie CAN'T WAIT!

I am getting into a balance at home of working and taking care of the kids. Next week will definitely be easier on the getting work done side with 4 of the kids at school. Since I am working for 2 different companies it's been a little crazy balancing the to-do list. It's exciting to have such an opportunity and saving us so much money on daycare. (WOW)

Cause Girls They Wanna Have Fun!

Zack and Trendon went to Kansas City today with Grandpa Clay to see a Royals Game! So, I decided to plan a special day just for the girls. Since the forecast said it would be 100 degrees here in Omaha , we opted for indoor activities.

My friend, Lisa came over to help run a spa for the darlings. We gave pedicures, manicures, facials, and fixed up their hair! So much fun!! The girls have already asked when we could do this day again and even Skyler stated, "This is the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!" :-) So cute.

After all the girls were sufficiently pampered we let them each choose a kid recipe to create! Abby chose a crunchy snack mix, Skyler chose a Hanukkah cake (?? :0), and Livie chose tea-cup cookies. We headed out to the store to purchase the ingredients for each recipe and then rushed home to get started on our delectable treats!




Might you say, that's a great day for some little girls?! Did we stop there?? OH NO!;-) Then we had a make-shift pool party in the back yard to relax...haha

Super duper beautiful day having fun with all the girls. However, can I have tomorrow off to relax?:-)
